For my graduation project, I explored the emotional impact of handwritten texts. I asked myself if my Sqeleton artworks could evoke strong emotions through the use of, for example, certain colors and materials. During my process, I discovered that I am highly self-critical and struggle with fear of failure. To confront this emotion, I wrote a letter about it and translated it into a life-sized Epoxy Sqeleton 3D sculpture named ‘[inner piece]’. I used various techniques to convey the emotions, such as utilizing specific materials, adjusting the size of the sculpture, and carefully considering its placement. Overall, my goal was to explore how art can connect with the viewer on an emotional level.
